Description
My glass projects are created in my own method utilizing an open fire pit process. I like to refer to these as a ‘collaboration with fire’. Materials are mostly discarded glass as well as discarded metal parts, such old rusted nails. I feed various combinations of these materials into the fire which I keep going for many hours. The outcome is always a surprise and a reflection of life and it’s many surprises. The metaphors and analogies are an important part of these creations.
